Nolensville retailer Nesting Project, which just opened last September, will add embroidery to their list of services with the addition of a four-head, 15-needle embroidery machine to their shop floor.

Nolensville retailer Nesting Project, which just opened last September, will add embroidery to their list of services with the addition of a four-head, 15-needle embroidery machine to their shop floor.

To run the new division, they have hired Steve Mason with over 14 years experience in the embroidery industry.

“Our new Advance Embroidery machine is one of the best embroidery machines around,” store co-owner Kelly Williamson said. “It is computer controlled and specifically engineered for embroidery.

“We have the ability to create custom embroidery designs including logos, names, monograms and patterns. This machine works wonderfully for almost any embroidery job.”

Nesting Project will offer free digitizing until Oct. 1 to entice new customers.

The store has many fundraising shirts, including some for Nolensville resident Greg Smalley, who is in rehab after a Cancun vacation accident left him a quadriplegic.

Adding embroidery has opened other doors for Nesting Project. Combined with their Direct to Garment printing and Stationery, the team will expand into mixed media design to be available on some of their wedding items in-store, helping the shop try to stand out.

“This move has shuttled us from being a direct-to-garment printer to a decorator,” Williamson said.

Nesting Project will stock a selection of polos, sweatshirts, hats, visors, jackets, beach, golf towels and totes to be available immediately for embroidering.

Other products, styles and colors can be ordered. They will not embroider on customer provided items or do “one offs” for the embroidery.

“There will be a four-piece minimum, but like our direct-to-garment pricing we have developed pricing that is very affordable,” co-owner Corinne Morse said. “And we are always eager to expand our offering and try new items customers might be looking for.”

In addition to adding the embroidery service and products, Nesting Project will expand their store hours on Mondays to 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

In celebration of their new offering and store hours, they will also host a one-year anniversary party at the store on Sept. 24 2015 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and will fully announce their new venture.

Nesting Project Custom T-shirts, Stationery and More is located at 7177 Nolensville Rd, Suite 7A, in Nolensville.
